Description & Requirements
We are looking for a high caliber individual with strong accounting background to join the Finance team of Projects & Operations Department in CLP Holdings. Reporting to the Principal Manager – Finance, Projects & Operations, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:
Job Duties:
- Prepare management reporting and provide analytical review of commentary on variance with reference to operating and financial performance
- Prepare financial reporting for entities and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and applicable accounting standards
- Compile annual business plan, capital and operating budgets and ensure they are financially justified, timely prepared and updated for management approval
- Conduct calculations on the inter-company recharges and prepare relevant documentation and arrangements across the Group
- Perform and assist on accounting operations and maintain internal control documentation
- Handle other ad-hoc tasks and assignments as required
Requirements:
- A recognised university degree with professional qualification in Finance, Accounting or relevant disciplines
- A minimum of 3 years’ financial accounting or public audit experience
- Experience in management reporting and budgeting is a plus
- Proficient in MS office applications; experience in using SAP would be an advantage
- Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese. The ability to speak Putonghua and read Simplified Chinese is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, fast learner and able to work under pressure
