CLPe Solutions Limited (formerly CLP Engineering Limited), incorporated in Hong Kong in 1985, is a wholly?owned subsidiary of CLP Holdings Limited with extensive experience in providing total energy solution. The company undertakes a variety of services including energy management solutions, distributed energy as well as power engineering, infrastructure and facilities management. We are looking for a high caliber professional to join our Contracting Business Department as a Project Manager (Data Centre). Key responsibilities include:
Manage Data Centre or Server Hall fitting-out project activities including design, equipment selection, technical submission, procurement, resources planning, SHEQ management, work programming development, site work implementation and key milestone progress
Develop business opportunities by providing fitting-out total solution services to Data Centre or Server Hall customers. Fitting-out total solution services including layout design, cooling solution, design calculations of server hall equipment, i.e. server racks, in-row, CRAC units, UPS, PDU, etc.
Formulate promotion and implementation plan for entering the Data Centre market
Handle tender bid activities & general tender related enquires for Data Centre or Server Hall business
Ensure that the sub-contractors carry out site installation works according to the in-house and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with clients and consultant to plan, schedule, and set up proper procedures to meet the technical requirements and deliver the work on schedule
Implement and monitor the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality system to achieve the required standards
Ensure effective project management including budget planning, project program monitoring, cost control, material and resources planning to achieve the targeted profit
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
A recognized university degree in Engineering or relevant disciplines
A minimum of 8 years’ relevant working experience with at least 3 years at managerial level
Sound knowledge and proven experience in Data Centre solutions or system integrator business is required
Possession of professional corporate membership in Engineering Institution would be an added advantage
Excellent communications and presentation skills and experiences to deliver convincing presentation
and communicate with clients through different communication channels in both verbal and written format
Good project management skills and experiences in Data Centre or server hall fitting-out projects would be an added advantage
Self-motivated, independent, and strong business acumen, able to work independently with ability to understand and exploit potential business opportunities
Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese
Candidates with less experience will be considered for lower position
